Your first time with an accelerator is nerve-wracking if you hit a chain of download-then-fail-to-install. This guide breaks Green Tea VPN into three steps, each with concrete actions, so you can finish your first connection in about five minutes.
Green Tea Accelerator supports Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and Linux. The flow is always download, install, connect — only the permission prompts differ by system.
1. Step one: download
Open the download center on the official site; it detects your OS and recommends the right version, or pick manually and click to download the Green Tea VPN installer. The file lands in your default Downloads folder.
Always download from the official site to avoid tampered packages. Official installers carry digital signatures shown during install as a verification cue.
2. Step two: install
Double-click the installer. Windows may show a UAC prompt — choose Yes. macOS requires allowing the source under System Settings > Privacy & Security for non-App-Store apps. Android needs "install unknown apps" enabled before installing the APK.
Keep default options; no path changes needed. The client icon appears on the desktop when done.
3. Step three: connect
First launch opens a login page. Sign up with email or phone if you lack an account, verify, then log in. The client auto-runs node tests and shows a recommended node. Click Connect; the status becomes "Connected".
To switch regions, open the node list and pick another. Disconnect by clicking the connect button again.
